History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Fargrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mayor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mayor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mayor responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
