History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gillyd embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she's in love
