History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Fortune-teller father left him crippled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
