History: Gifted from a young age, Astar studied abroad. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shepherd. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Halander was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Mishann never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants
