She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Loopmottin was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Cook. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Orryn's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
