History: Born in the west to a Soapmaker, Ekk learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Beatrice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.
