History: Mara hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her childhood dream was to be a Miller, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Patrick's homeland. Patrick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
