History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Skirt was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Andraste lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: She's in love; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
