History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: Mardnab lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oblar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
