History: Helja was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Himo was born the youngest of three triplets. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is a Tailor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thea was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Tailor and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tailor for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tailor responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
