History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nija does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Nija was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Knight. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She tends to her Fisher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Gifted from a young age, Ishmoz studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
