Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She has shaved her head bald. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 8. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Jane was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.
History: Born to a Ploughman, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Osco Wiseacre, Male Halfling [Permalink]

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He prefers to wear flannel. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Osco embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Osco was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: This man wears black painted combat armor at almost all times, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Tarak will drive conversation. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Tarak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tarak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tarak and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To be a Bowyer again; and he's repulsed by the pc
