History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Doctor, and she later adopted a second daughter.
