She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Marshal. Recently the stress of being a Marshal has made it difficult for him to sleep.
