History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born into a rich family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
