Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shadow took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
