Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and she perpetually has her lance ready. Her hair is cut close to her head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Gnome Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her childhood dream was to be a Performer, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
