History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Balam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Balam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Keyleth was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Keyleth and her spouse have recently divorced.
