History: Mella was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Breena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and wants to raise his children well

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is short and white. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
