History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shadow grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shadow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shadow. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Tomi will drive conversation. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Tomi reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sutha hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gifted student she started as a Bounty Hunter, but she got bored and became a Carter. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is greedy

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. He has wavy black hair. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
