History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Eldon and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Eldon discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Eldon fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barrister. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
