History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Elegant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and a deep hatred of gnolls
