History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Burgell enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the south. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Burgell was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
