He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in halberd use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
