History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Synthrin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Synthrin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Synthrin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Description: This man wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is golden and curly. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Jebeddo isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Jebeddo was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Body Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
