History: Elama was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. History: He comes from a rich western family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has worked as a Scribe like his mother before him.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Meriele was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Meriele's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
