History: Krûk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Torinn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but he was a colossal failure. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
