Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Gunter was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many orcs want her driven away
