History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vani was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Marigold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
