Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants, and is pretty ugly. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Armorer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: An older man who wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is cut short. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sage but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Ulfgar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
