Through the years after Randal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
