She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Thorpe liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lûgdash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
