History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mary was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
