Description: This man is very fat, and wears dull tan sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hand crossbow, just in case. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in a small island village. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The war was a terrible time for her, and Sarah does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder mother left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and to unite with her sister
