Description: She is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has a hunchback. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Sariel reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and a wedding ring on her left hand. She has slicked back silver hair. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed red hat.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: This man wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise black. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Zepar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a large yellow jacket, and is pretty ugly. He has a very tight haircut. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born in the north to a Bellfounder, Roger learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has worked as a Bellfounder like his father before him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
