History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Rendar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love
