History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gennal grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Everard has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barber who has hired him part-time. Xappan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Xappan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Xappan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
