History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Meena lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Biri grew up listening to her father's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
