Sapply Tarkelby, Male Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his quarterstaff, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His hair is blonde and curly. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 63. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Sapply alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and to end his boredom
Flaws: Addict, Insane, Selfish, Mundane. Bonds: Attractive, Enemies. Occupation: Mortician
Voice: Boston accent

Loopmottin Fiddlefen, Female Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Blacksmith, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to reunite with her absent mother
Flaws: Ugly, Cynical, Shy. Bonds: Military, Poor, Family. Occupation: Blacksmith
Voice: Soothing and warm
