Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Pyntle was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dyer. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Azzakh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
