History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
