History: Born in the west to a Bather, Liftrasa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 90. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to open a new tavern

Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker blue hat.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and money/treasure
