History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and a deep hatred of orcs
