Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a pickaxe on her belt. Her crest is green and curly. Her gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Hillanot is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
