The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. The war was a terrible time for her, and Rose does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Rose reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
