History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and balancing her hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Reirak embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
