Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Burgell does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Burgell was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Burgell and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears just a brown suit. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Nora lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hand crossbow with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She carries with her a set of hand crossbows, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and an old rival family wants her found
