Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Ilde was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Now she works as a writing tutor during her time off.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. She has shaved her head bald. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and she wants revenge against illithids

Description: This man wears long strands of emerald and short white dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears his brown hair up. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is renowned for her bright yellow dresses and hats. She has moderate length golden hair. Her eyes are amber and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is a great chef.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Mara was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Soapmaker. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
