Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Avelina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born in the east to a Performer, Helja learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has achieved small success as a Performer.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
