He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: 3'4" and muscular, this southern woman prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born in the south to a Seamstress, Oda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he loathes his own lifestyle

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
